As I was rounding the corner of the Walmart with my car, I notice a woman employee sitting on a bench smoking a cigarette.

She had her employee vest and name lanyard on and was obviously on her break.  But what caught my attention was the cane sitting next to her leaning against the bench.  I parked my car and walked over to where she was sitting together with another employee.  

“Excuse me.  I noticed your cane.  I’m a minister and I pray for people and God heals them.  Can I pray for you?” I inquired.  “I never turn down prayer!” She replied.  After I introduced myself, she told me her name was Beverly.

I asked her what the condition was that I could pray for.   The other woman suddenly piped up,and said, “It’s arthritis, isn’t it?”  “Yes,” she said “I had cancer treatment and it triggered my arthritis.”  “Okay,” I said, “and what is the cane for?  Do you have any pain?”  “Yes,”she said, “in this knee here.” as she pointed to her right knee.

“I used to have arthritis right here in my arm but Jesus took care of it.” I explained, “Let me pray for you.  Father, I thank you for Beverly and that you love her and that you are going to prove it to her by setting her free instantly right now.  All pain I command you to go right now in the name of Jesus.  I cancel all the effects of the cancer and arthritis and command complete health in Jesus name.  Okay, now check it out and do what you could not do before.”

She moved her knee and said, “It feels better!”  “Is the pain all gone? I asked her.  “Yes, it’s all gone!  Thank you.”  “That’s Jesus for you.  He is the same yesterday, today and forever.” I added, “just thank Him.”

“Yes, I will but thank you for doing the Lord’s work.” She replied.  “My pleasure.” I answered, “Have a great afternoon.”

It is always a pleasure doing the Lord’s work.  Praise be unto His holy name!
