Many people believe in “soul sleep”.
There are many believers today who believe that when we die, our soul and spirit go to sleep together with our body until we wake up at the Lord’s second coming.
Nonsense. Continue reading Shall We All Sleep?

There are only three kinds of people living in the world today.
Apparently there is problem today with a certain group of people claiming that others not of their tribe are being anti-Semitic towards them.
This gets thrown around an awful lot these days and very unjustified so. Oy vey!
The problem with this is that in order to be anti-Semitic, the recipient must be a Semite first.
Will you be naked before God for all eternity?
Or will you be clothed with Christ?
There are only 2 choices. Make sure you make the right choice.

“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:” Eph 4:26
As you can see here, it is OK to be angry. But it is not OK to let your anger boil over into sin such as revenge, harboring resentment or even holding a grudge.
We are to forgive and preferably soon and definitely before the sun goes down.
Many people live with unforgiveness and carry this around their neck as a ten ton weight upon their shoulders. They are convinced that the other person must first repent and then come and ask them for their forgiveness before they will even consider forgiving them. This is not biblical at all. But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. Psalms 22:6
This of course is prophetic of Jesus hanging on the cross being despised and rejected of men.

Some people believe that Judaism still exists.
They know people who call themselves Jews and who say that they are Jewish, claiming that they are some part of Judaism.
They do not realize that Judaism, with all of its rituals of Sabbath observance, keeping the law, dietary restrictions, blood sacrifices and temple worship, has ceased to exist and that all of these practices have come to an abrupt end with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Having been born a Roman Catholic, raised by a father who had studied to be a Jesuit priest but did not complete his studies, and having studied Catholicism in depth before coming to the realization that RC doctrine did not line up with scripture and even contradicted it, I “came out of her” as per Revelations 18:4.
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Revelation 18:4
My questions for most Catholics I minister to today is simply this:
When you die as a Catholic, where will you go? Continue reading Questions for Catholics
Nature itself proves that there is a God.
The beauty and goodness in the world proves that God exists. And since we are created in His image, these are His attributes that we have inherited by design.
The bad things in this world proves that evil exists. Evil is not from God but from the adversary, the devil. This we inherited not from God but from Adam’s fall and failure to obey God. Continue reading Arguing with Agnostics and Atheists
We were at the Goodwill Rescue Mission having a great time ministering to a room full of men and a few women as well.
As we were winding down, I noticed a man with a crutch sitting all the way in the back of the room. I packed up my music gear and left it to make a beeline over to him. I looked this man in the eye and said, “Hi. I’m a minister and I pray for people and God heals them. Can I pray for you?” Continue reading Jesus Takes Man’s Crutch
It was a warm summer day and I was driving from one appointment to another for business. The way my GPS was sending me, meandered through a suburban neighborhood of small, one family homes with a decent size yard in front of each home.
I crossed over a road and casually looked to my left when I saw her. She was weeding her garden holding on to her walker. It struck me odd that an older woman with a handicap, would be out in the heat of the day, weeding her garden with her walker. As I pondered the scene, I kept driving and was about a block away when it hit me. I should stop to pray for her. After all, I had just started learning about being able to pray for people to heal them.
No, I can’t. I need to get to my next appointment, I thought, when immediately my conscience smote me and spoke to me loud and clear, “No you don’t! You have at least another hour before you need to be there!” Continue reading Drive By Healing
Biblical Christians believe that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord as Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:8. Therefor when we die in Christ, having been born again, confessed and repented of our sins, the next face we will see is that of Jesus, our Lord and our Savior.
The most basic tenet of the Christian faith is that Jesus paid the price for our sins by the shedding of His perfect, sinless blood on the cross as the Son of God, hereby being the sacrificial lamb that takes away the sins of the world. This is what John the Baptist by the Holy Spirit confirmed when he saw Jesus coming to him.
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29
Paul confirms that only the shedding of blood can remit sins. Therefore the only efficacy for the remission of sin is blood and nothing else. Continue reading Who Wants To Go To Purgatory?
What many pro-evolution advocates call evolution is really only what is called “adaption” or “adaptation”.
Adaptation refers to the growth process of a natural being to adapt to its environment. Even Wikipedia defines it as follows: “Adaptation is the evolutionary process whereby an organism becomes better able to live in its habitat or habitats.”
Animals, as well as, human beings may show physical changes to better adapt to their environments. This is natural adaptation of the species within the species and not evolution from one species to another. Continue reading Nature Itself Disproves Evolution
We have all done things in our zealousness that were, what we thought, was right at the time. Only to find out that it was our own zealous desire from our heart and not necessarily God’s desire or His perfect will for us. But we have a loving Father who is gracious, patient and forgiving and oft well pleased and delighted that we would be so zealous for Him.
Have you ever had a loved one go out of their way to do something for you, that you did not really want them to do? Continue reading Paul’s Unnecessary Sufferings
After ministering music to the men at the Goodwill Rescue Mission and after packing up my stuff, before leaving, I decided to reach out to the guys directly and just sit down and talk with them.
One of them was a young man named Saleem which means peace similar to Shalom as in Sar Shalom or Prince of Peace. I asked him if he believed in Jesus and I could tell he hesitated before he said yes, he did. I said “Wait a minute. You just hesitated before you said that. Do you really believe in Jesus?” “Well sometimes I do.” He kind of avoided the question so I asked him “Hey, can I show you something?” “Sure.” he replied.
Nowhere in the bible does it say to go out and make converts. It does however tell us to go out and make disciples.
What’s the difference? A whole world of difference!
A convert in today’s definition of the modern-day church, is an individual who repeats a prayer to “accepts” Jesus into their heart. One of the most popular sayings in today’s church culture is “Salvation is only a prayer away.” Once this ritual has been performed, then the whole church will rally around that individual and tell them over and over again that they are saved by grace. This too, is what they learned and “monkey see, monkey do”.
Yet, nowhere in scripture is this ritual supported. Continue reading How Many Apples Are In A Seed?
The Qur’an proclaims that Allah sent down the Book (Qur’an), the Taurat (Torah or the Law of Moses) and the Injeel (Gospel of Jesus):
Surah 3:3 -It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Taurat (Torah or the Law of Moses) and the Injeel (Gospel of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).
If the Qur’an states that all of these books were given by Allah in truth, then all 3 books must be read and believed by all Muslims and not just the Qur’an only which book is to “confirm what went before it” as stated above. Continue reading Jesus Al-Masih in the Qur’an
Luke 17:10
So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
John 15:13-16
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15
Before God created man, He created the angels. He created them perfect, beautiful and without sin. Even Lucifer was created perfect and was called son of the morning and the bright and morning star. Until iniquity was found in him when he tried to exalt himself above God and led many angels astray with him in his rebellion against God. That is when he fell from heaven to earth and from that moment on, he was called Satan, which literally means “Adversary.” Continue reading Choose You This Day Whom You Will Serve!
“Saved from what?” you might ask. Separation from God, is the answer. “But I don’t need God in my life.” No, you probably don’t believe that you do at the moment. That’s only because you cannot see the other world yet that is hidden from you right now. But someday you will see it and your eyes will be opened. You only have natural eyes right now. Someday you will have spiritual eyes once your natural eyes have died with the rest of your body. Your spirit will live on and then you will see what you have been missing all this time. One of the greatest biblical discoveries of all time!
The ark of the covenant mysteriously disappeared around the time of the Babylonian exile and has not been seen for 2,600 years. This is the ark that God commanded Moses to build in Exodus 25:10-22.
It was made out of shittim (acacia) wood overlaid with pure gold. With the cubit at 25 inches, the dimensions would be 5’2.5″ long, 37.5″ high and 37.5″ wide. It had a crown of gold round about and four rings of gold at the corners, two on each side. To be able to carry the ark, two staves were made of the same wood and also overlaid with gold and placed through each of the two rings on each side. Continue reading Where Is The Ark?
Jim asked me if I would be willing to give a word at the Goodwill Rescue Mission. It is always a treat to minister to the men there. The room is usually filled with 50 to 70 men most of whom are part of the program. They all have a story to tell. Many are homeless, coming off of drugs, just out of jail or other distressed situations with many broken families.
So I decided to not just share “a” word but “The Word” in the form of a Gospel of John handout for each attendee. I even had some in Spanish which a handful of them raised their hand to receive. Continue reading Not In Word But In Power
When you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.
Has anyone ever wronged you? Have you forgiven them? If not, then you need to read this in its entirety. Your very life may depend on it!
Unforgiveness is a bitter poison. Left alone, it will eat at the very root of your heart and soul. And if you let it suppurate and fester, it can ultimately destroy your very spirit and terminate in eternal death. Continue reading Unforgiveness Is A Bitter Poison
