Harry, not his real name but used to protect his identity, and his wife came to our team meetings for several weeks. They were a very nice couple and we enjoyed their company.
One day, Harry called me up and asked if he could bring his cat to the meeting for us to lay hands and pray over. I told him sure, but that pets are really the owner’s responsibility to take dominion over for healing. He said he understood and at the next session he brought over his cat.
I prayed over the cat and then said “What about you? Didn’t you say something about your eyes?” “Yes.” he responded, “I have macular degeneration in both my eyes but they are saying it is incurable.” “Well, is anything impossible for Jesus?” I asked him. Jesus never excluded ministering healing from proclaiming the good news of the kingdom as almost all preachers do today. Modern day preachers do the exact opposite. They preach in word only and carefully and purposely avoid at all cost to minister healing for fear of nonperformance and thus they be exposed as spiritually devoid of power and risk losing their following. This is Holly’s testimony from the worldwide Skype chat group:
I really believe the reason we have to stand for something in our personal life is so that when someone comes to us with the same issue we can say….yep God healed me of that, He Healed u too instead of saying “so and so” prayed for me let’s go find them.
His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
Why is it that most sermons today are geared towards dumb sheep? Why are they being preached to from only half a gospel? You know, only from the parts that don’t allow the sheep to ever challenge the shepherd’s message? Continue reading Dumb Sheep or Dumb Shepherds?→
It was Liesl and Gabe’s first person they approached at the flea market who was in a wheelchair. Her name was Owelda and she shared with them that she had pain in her legs from arthritis.
Gabe told her: “We’re going to talk to your pain. We’re going to talk to your arthritis and cast it out and we’re going to believe and we’re going to pray that Jesus will take it out and you will know, you will notice that the pain has gone away. What do you think about that?” Continue reading Jesus Heals Arthritis→
As I was rounding the corner of the Walmart with my car, I notice a woman employee sitting on a bench smoking a cigarette.
She had her employee vest and name lanyard on and was obviously on her break. But what caught my attention was the cane sitting next to her leaning against the bench. I parked my car and walked over to where she was sitting together with another employee. Continue reading Thank You For Doing The Lord’s Work→
And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. Matthew 8:14-15
My friend John was scheduled to come and speak to our group meeting on Wednesday evening. However, about two hours before the meeting he sent me an email that he apologized but could not come because he had an over 100 degree fever and a severe case of strep throat. I immediately called him up and offered to pray for him to knock this thing out. I got his voicemail and left the following message “Hey John, got your message and wanted to offer to pray. You’re obviously under attack and I wanted to see if I could help you out. Let me know. Bye.” Continue reading And The Fever Left Her→
“Yes, one double cheeseburger with extra cheese, hold the pickle, large fries and a strawberry milkshake. O, and I’ll have some extra mayo with that.”
How is it that we have no problem ordering what we want from a fast food menu, but we get all tongue tied when we order healing for someone? Yes, I said order.
Praying for healing for someone is just like ordering off of a menu. When you order food, you have to tell the person taking your order exactly what you want. If you don’t, you may not get what you want or like what you get. If you hesitate and don’t know what you want or don’t say it clear enough, they may ask you to please step aside and let the next person in line order until you know what it is that you want to order. How many people want to be like Jesus? Many confess that they would like to be like Jesus but have their reasons why they are not. These reasons range from “It is just too difficult” to “I am not called” to “I am not worthy.” But sadly many reasons just plainly boil down to “I don’t really know what it takes to even come close to being like Jesus”.
But I truly believe that many people would love to be just like Jesus…if they only knew how. I will even take it up a notch. I believe that both men and women, children and teenagers, the old and the young, would pour out their lives and exhaust themselves in service of their Savior and King…if they only knew how.
At their very first flea market outreach, brand new team members Liesl and Gabe, offered to pray for Gloria who was sitting in her walker nibbling on an ear of corn.
She told them that she had problems with both of her knees and gladly accepted their prayers. Liesl commanded all of the pain to go and for her knees to be completely healed and made whole. Even their daughter chimed in and commanded the pain to “Get out!”. Continue reading Knees Instantly Healed→
Are you actively praying for people to be healed but just not seeing results? Or not seeing enough instant healing results? Are you starting to question why it seems to be working for everyone else but not for you?
We were at the flea market with new team members Gabe and Liesl, when a woman saw us healing somebody else and could not resist to approach us.
“Can you pray for me?” she asked. “Of course!” Gabe answered her, “What’s can I pray for?” She said that her back was in a lot of pain and you could just tell that she was in pain and having a hard time walking straight. Continue reading Woman Instantly Healed Of Back Pain→
We were at the Goodwill Rescue Mission having a great time ministering to a room full of men and a few women as well.
As we were winding down, I noticed a man with a crutch sitting all the way in the back of the room. I packed up my music gear and left it to make a beeline over to him. I looked this man in the eye and said, “Hi. I’m a minister and I pray for people and God heals them. Can I pray for you?” Continue reading Jesus Takes Man’s Crutch→
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18
Another highly recommended book revealing that the gifts, or rather the “charisma” or literally “grace effects”, of the Holy Spirit, though heavily suppressed during the dark ages, have always been in operation.
These “grace effects” of having the Holy Spirit indwelling the believer are now coming to he forefront as believers take hold of the promise of the Father.
And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. Luke 24:49
Many Christians today believe that only some are gifted to be able to exercise the “grace effects” of the Holy Spirit. Not so. Yes, there are people specially gifted and these are special gifts. But all true believers are commissioned to do the same works that Jesus did and greater.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:12
You’ve heard it before, “Cancer runs in my family. My mother has it. Her sister, my aunt, has it. My grandmother died from it and even her mother had it, too. Now I am afraid that I will get it because it’s in my family genes.”
The bread symbolizes His body which was broken for us
The wine symbolizes His blood which was shed for us
Most modern day church services rush past the bread to get to the wine because they want to recognize the salvation it represents. However, they are completely ignorant of what Christ’s body, represented by the bread, was broken for. In doing so they eat damnation to themselves not discerning that His sinless body was broken for their healing, represented by the unleavened bread. This is why many are weak and sick and die. This book comes highly recommended and I have recommended it myself to couples who want to conceive or want to discover God’s supernatural childbirth promises in action.
Pregnancy and childbirth are often depicted as a time of sickness and mood swings for women followed by twelve to twenty hours of pain and hard labor. Many women have been told they can never conceive. Others have suffered the pain of conceiving and miscarrying. Have you had enough of this picture? Continue reading Supernatural Childbirth→
At a flea market, a woman who was carrying a folded up walker was walking towards me. I just could not help myself to ask her, “Are you using that walker?”
“Oh, no, it is for my mother. She cannot walk anymore.” she responded. I introduced myself and she told me her name was Rose. I asked if her mother was here at the market and said that I was a minister and could I pray for her?
“No. She is at home.” she replied. “No problem.” I said as I took out a business card, “Just hold on to this business card and we will infuse it with the power of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus, so that as soon as she touches it, she will be healed.” “Really?” Rosa’ s eyes were getting really big as we both held on to the card. It was a warm summer day and I was driving from one appointment to another for business. The way my GPS was sending me, meandered through a suburban neighborhood of small, one family homes with a decent size yard in front of each home.
I crossed over a road and casually looked to my left when I saw her. She was weeding her garden holding on to her walker. It struck me odd that an older woman with a handicap, would be out in the heat of the day, weeding her garden with her walker. As I pondered the scene, I kept driving and was about a block away when it hit me. I should stop to pray for her. After all, I had just started learning about being able to pray for people to heal them.
No, I can’t. I need to get to my next appointment, I thought, when immediately my conscience smote me and spoke to me loud and clear, “No you don’t! You have at least another hour before you need to be there!” Continue reading Drive By Healing→
We were at the flea market with our team and bumped into Fermin.
He was walking very slowly with a cane. He was Spanish speaking but also spoke pretty good English. When we asked him what the condition was he said he was in severe back and neck pain. He could not even turn his head.
Margaret, one of our team members, had come for the first time to our outreach event. She had several health issues herself which we prayed for and she was set free of them all. She even received a vision correction to where she could suddenly read the signs posted in the office trailer window from a distance. As a result, Margaret said she was ready to be activated (the term we use to have disciples pray for other people and see them get instantly healed). Continue reading Moving Mountains→
You’ve heard these kind of prayers. They are repeated over and over ad nauseam in almost every modem day church and by modern day believers, or people who claim to be believers, all over the world. Here are a few examples:
O, Lord, please heal me.
O, Lord, please heal brother so and so.
God, please guide the surgeon’s hand during the operation to heal sister so and so.
Lord, please give the doctor wisdom to find out what is wrong with me.
Lord I pray that You might have mercy on my friend to heal them of their illness.
O, Lord, I pray that You will send your healing power to heal so and so of their cancer.
O, Lord, if it be Thy will to heal then please heal so and so.
Manny is a dear friend of mine. I have known him for at least 20 years. He runs an auto repair service and has serviced our family for years.
My daughter came home one day and said that Manny wanted me to call him. She had just picked up her car and this is what Manny had asked her to tell me.
So the next time I was in the area, I made it a point to stop in and see my old friend. As I walked into the garage, he came towards me and pulled down his collar to show me a scar that extended across his entire neck. Continue reading Caught Up to the Third Heaven→
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18-19 (fulfilling Isaiah 61:1-2a)
Together with Jesus, and in His name, I declare unto you:
…This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. Luke 4:21
Now before any Pharisees out there want to throw me off a cliff, let me explain.
My wife and I were at the mall with our daughter and son-in-law and baby grandson. Grandma had decided that she wanted to by a pair of shoes for our grandson.
As they were trying on just about every shoe in the store, I was pacing back and forth to the front of the store and back adain to see if they had finally made their selection. When I came back to the front and stood in the entrance door looking out on the mall traffic, I spotted a Muslim family strolling by on the other side. The mother was in the traditional Hijab and long black robe but she was struggling forth on a pair of crutches.
I crossed the walkway and approached the husband. With Muslims I never approach the wife first as that would be inappropriate. “Excuse me, sir.” I interrupted, “I noticed your wife’s crutches. I am a minister and I pray for people and God heals them. Can I pray for her?” Continue reading Muslim Woman Instantly Healed→
Our local church was hosting a Summerfest picnic at Modick Park in Hopatcong, New Jersey as an outreach for the community.
It was a great event with live music bands, carnival games for the kids, food stands and of course a ministry table with lots of information. I manned the ministry table with a few other folks and we offered to pray for people and would give them bibles and information about the church.
Casey came to our home on a team meeting day to be prayed for. She was getting married next week and could not move her back or her neck. Not exactly how you want to go through your wedding day!
One of us prayed for her and she felt a little bit of relief, but this thing was stubborn. It simply would not budge. But the mountain had moved! And if we can move the mountain just one inch then we can move it all the way!
When you minister healing and you see something move, even just the slightest bit, the demons have flinched. They gave themselves away. That is the proof! They have exposed themselves and you can call them out on it. Continue reading Healed In Time For Her Wedding→
