We had decided to do our first team outreach and chose our local mall.

Jamie, my daughter who is also on our team, approached a young man who worked at a selfie stick vending cart.  His name was Omar.  He said that he was Muslim but that he was open to anything.

Jamie asked him if he had any pain in his body to which he replied that his foot was hurting him.   She said “No problem.  Jesus loves you and wants to prove it to you by healing you.”  

He did not object so she bent down and put her hand on his foot and commanded the pain to go.  When she told him to check it out and do what he could not do before, his whole face lit up when he realized all the pain was gone.  He  shouted out, “Now, try the other foot!” While putting his other foot forward.

Jamie prayed for the other foot and it, too, was instantly healed.  She gave him a business card and encouraged him to call if he wanted to learn more.  He gratefully took the card and had to attend to other customers.

Omar now knows for a fact that Jesus is real and that he heals because He touched him and healed him right there at the mall at his vending cart.

Every time he tries to read his Qur’an or attends a mosque or listens to an imam, the reality of Jesus will distract him.  No matter what they tell him, he will always know that Jesus is Lord because Jesus touched him.
