Just as the basic message of the gospel is so simple that even a child can understand it, so simple is the message of healing.

FACT: Jesus paid for our sins with his blood on the cross.

Because of Jesus’ payment by sacrificing Himself for us, He paid the price that we owed for our sins, for us.  He wasn’t just nailed to the cross for us, but in our place.

He took our sins upon Himself to make us free of them.

RESULT: We are saved!

FACT: Jesus paid for our healing with his stripes at the whipping post.  Because of Jesus’ payment by sacrificing Himself for us, He paid the price that we owed for our healing, for us.  He wasn’t just whipped for us, but in our place.

He took our pains, sicknesses, infirmities and diseases upon Himself to make us free of them.

RESULT: We are healed!

Here is the simple message of the gospel on how to be saved:

A. Repent of your sins

B. Confess your sins and ask forgiveness

C. Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior

And here is the simple message of the gospel on how to be healed:

A. Cast out the demons – Command the spirits of infirmity and/or pain to get out and to not return.

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:  Matthew 8:16

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.  Mark 9:25

B. Command healing – Command the body part, organ, area, to be healed and to be made whole.

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.  Mark 16:17-18

C. Put it into action – Instruct them, or yourself, to do what they, or you, could not do before. Move the body part and try to find any pain. Keep moving until it is gone.

And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.  Acts 3:7

Many people stop short of item C and never see the healing instantly manifest.  I call it the “working of miracles.”  This is the step of faith to bring your prayers to fruition.  By acting on what was just prayed (commanded) for, faith is being put into action and instant healing is the result.

Keep it simple and stick to the basics and you will see it work.
