Apparently there is problem today with a certain group of people claiming that others not of their tribe are being anti-Semitic towards them.
This gets thrown around an awful lot these days and very unjustified so. Oy vey!
The problem with this is that in order to be anti-Semitic, the recipient must be a Semite first.
What is a Semite? Or rather, what is a Shem-ite?
A Shem-ite, or Sem-ite, is a bloodline descendant of Shem, one of the 3 sons of Noah and apparently the firstborn as he is referenced first in every scripture we can find. This is the royal bloodline through whom came Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Jesse, David and even Jesus. This is why they also called Jesus, the Son of David.
My Jewish Learning website confirms this:
The name Semite comes from Shem, the eldest of the three sons of Noah. In the Greek and Latin versions of the Bible, Shem becomes Sem, since neither Greek nor Latin has any way of representing the initial sound of the Hebrew name.
Source: https://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/who-are-the-semites/
Correction: Shem was not the elder but Japhet. Noah had 3 sons: Shem, the middle child but always listed first for the importance of his line of descendants , Ham, the youngest child and Japhet, who scripture confirms as being the elder. This is clearly spelled out in the following verses in Genesis:
And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Genesis 5:32
As to Shem, father of all sons of Eber, brother of Japheth the elder, he hath also begotten: Genesis 10:21
And Ham, father of Canaan, seeth the nakedness of his father, and declareth to his two brethren without. And Shem taketh–Japheth also–the garment, and they place on the shoulder of them both, and go backward, and cover the nakedness of their father; and their faces [are] backward, and their father’s nakedness they have not seen. And Noah awaketh from his wine, and knoweth that which his young son hath done to him, Genesis 9:22-24
Now for the record, let me be clear, I am very fond of true Semites who were God’s very first chosen people and together with the apostle Saul, who was sometimes called Paul, who was also a Semite Jew who became one of the first Christians, I eagerly look forward for them to receive their inheritance and redemption which rightfully belongs to them.
Paul says though that as concerning the gospel they are enemies for the Christians’ sakes, but as touching the election, they are beloved for the [their] fathers’ sakes (Romans 11:28) and that the gift and the calling of God are without repentance (Romans 11:29). Therefor all Israel will be saved as a nation at the next coming of Messiah, but unfortunately not all Israelites or those who say that they are Israelites but are not, will be saved.
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Romans 11:26-29
But I am not at all fond of imposters and neither was Jesus nor is God. Look at what He says about imposter Israelites or, in today’s vernacular, “Fake Jews”:
I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Revelation 2:9
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Revelation 3:9
Jesus says that these people claim to be Jews but are not, and instead are blasphemers who lie and are of the synagogue of Satan. They do not acknowledge or worship God but worship Satan or as they prefer to call him, Lucifer. Now why would Jesus even say this if it were not true? Of course it is true, but who exactly is He referring to here? Is it so prevalent that He dedicated two whole verses to it? Obviously so.
Well let’s take a look at which Jews, who say that they are Jews but are not, but lie, He could possibly be referring to?
Many Jews today refer to themselves as Ashkenazi Jews or as they call it, Ashkenazim. This would mean that they are descendants of Ashkenaz (or Ashchenaz). They are very proud of it and proclaim it boldly when asked.
How they can even claim this is still a mystery because in 70 AD the Romans came and destroyed the temple in Jerusalem and burned all the books (scrolls) with all the heritage lineage records and not a trace of it was left. There was no backup copy somehow preserved for posterity because the Jews at the time believed that God would supernaturally protect His temple and His scriptures and all records of their heritage. But God apparently had other plans and all was destroyed by the Romans just as Jesus had prophesied 37 years earlier before it happened.
Yes, the Israelites were able to take with them some of their scrolls of scripture when they were taken captive and deported into other nations by the Romans, but only what they could carry on their backs as these scrolls were rather large and heavy. This is referred to as the Diaspora, the scattering of the Jews banished from their own country and spread into all the world.
The early evangelizing Christians, reaching out and traveling to other countries to spread the gospel before the Roman invasion, had already taken scriptures with them in their travels and preserved so much of the scriptures that it gave us the bible we have today in both Old and New Testaments. Ironically, in a sense, the Jews owe the Christians a debt of gratitude for preserving their Hebrew scriptures.
Interestingly, when we study the Hebrew scriptures, we discover that Ashenaz was not a descendant of Shem, the royal Davidic line, but rather he was the son of Gomer who was the son of Japhet the eldest son of Noah. This is confirmed by the following scriptures:
Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood. The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah. Genesis 10:1-3
The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. 6 And the sons of Gomer; Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah. 1 Chronicles 1:5-6
Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillers. Jeremiah 51:27
This is also confirmed by the Jewish Virtual Library website:
Ashkenaz (Heb. אַשְׁכְּנָז) refers to a people and a country bordering on Armenia and the upper Euphrates; listed in Genesis 10:3 and I Chronicles 1:6 among the descendants of Gomer. The name Ashkenaz also occurs once in Jeremiah 51:27 in a passage calling upon the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz to rise and destroy Babylon.
Source: https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/ashkenazim
Therefore those who claim to be Ashkenazi Jews, by their own confession and confirmed by Jewish scholars and authorities, as such are not descendants of Shem and therefore cannot be Semitic. Instead, what these self-professed Ashkenazim really are, is Japhetic being the descendants of Japhet. So anything spoken against them cannot possibly be anti-Semitic by definition but instead can only be anti-Japhetic.
Unless they truly converted to Judaism hook, line and sinker, are they really even Jews since they are certainly not Hebrew bloodline descendants of Abraham? Just as children born to Christians are not automatically Christians until and unless they conscientiously decide for Christ, so neither are children born to Jews automatically God fearing and honoring, observant Jews. There must be a confession and living practice of such faith. Alas, history shows us that most of these “converts”, were Jews in name only.
The very definition of being an Israelite Hebrew Jew is that you confess and honor God (YHWH) and keep His commandments. Many Jews today, especially Zionist Jews, actually confess to being atheists and deny the God of their fathers. A Jew who admits that he does not believe in God cannot possibly be one of His chosen people or the apple of His eye. Quite the opposite. They have made themselves to be an enemy of God and are completely outside of His covenant and have willingly forfeited their inheritance. Why would God take you into His covenant when you have outright denied Him?
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24:15
These are the plain facts as they are laid out in scripture. To give these people who claim to be Ashkenazim the benefit of the doubt, perhaps they are in error about their lineage which would be perfectly understandable because the record of their heritage was destroyed by the Romans and there is no way they can research it. They can only rely on what they were told in their upbringing and by word of mouth passed on through generations.
But if they claim to be Semitic as Ashkenazim, which we have now learned is completely incompatible with each other due to their separate bloodlines, and an oxymoron, then they are clearly impostors and “Fake Jews” who deserve no such credit or honor and literally fulfill Jesus’ prophecy that they lie and are of the synagogue of Satan.
Only true Israelites, who are indeed descendants of Shem, or those who have truly converted to Judaism, will inherit the kingdom if they obey and practice God’s commandments and most importantly, accept God’s provision of His own Son Yahushua as Messiah for their salvation.
This is the stumbling stone that God laid in Zion, a rock of offense. Yet He has become the cornerstone as per God’s will and design.
And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Isaiah 8:14
Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Isaiah 28:16
The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. Psalms 118:22
Jesus described it perfectly.
Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them. Matthew 21:42-45
Messiah first had to come not as a conqueror but as a sacrificial lamb to pay for the sins of the people or they could not be redeemed. Scripture confirms that it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul (Leviticus 17:1) and that without the shedding of blood, there is no remission (Hebrews 9:22) of sin. He was the man of sorrows, acquainted with grief that Isaiah prophesied about who was wounded for our transgressions (sins) and was bruised for our iniquities (punishment for sins) to pay the debt that we could not possibly pay ourselves.
Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 53
Now that He has paid the price to cleanse us of our sins and of all unrighteousness, He will soon return as the conquering Messiah and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah to judge the nations and regather all true Israelites as a nation who believe and only those who believe on Him. And He will set David over them as their king forever.
Today even the name of Jesus or Yehushua is an offense to every true as well as every Fake Jew because this does not line up with their concept of what God should have done. It totally goes against their grain, their traditions and everything they have believed and were taught.
They have forgotten something very important. They do not get to tell God what He should do, He tells them what they must do. He alone is God. Yet, they have taught as doctrine the commandments and traditions of men.
Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Isaiah 29:13
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Matt 15:9
And God through the prophet Habakkuk, declared to the Israelites and all nations in no uncertain terms, written black and white in the Hebrew scriptures, that He would do a work in their days that even they would not believe.
Behold ye among the heathen [nations] , and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you. Habakkuk 1:5
Paul followed this up with the fulfillment of this scripture speaking to the Jews:
Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man [Jesus] is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets; Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you. Acts 13:38-41
God accurately predicted that the stiffed necked Jews would not believe Him nor would they believe the great work that He has done by sending His own Son, His Word that became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14), to pay for their sins with His own blood so that they would not have to pay for their own sins and would be saved. If they would only believe. But most would not. Except for a few who spread it to the rest of the world.
The Jews’ outright rejection of their own Mashiach or Messiah became salvation to the gentiles as prophesied in many scriptures. The only reason the gentiles received the salvation that was promised to the Jews, was because the Jews outright rejected it and the gentiles willingly received it by accepting and receiving God’s provision and gift of His only Son given for them as a sacrificial lamb slain for the sins of the world.
And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. Isaiah 11:10
The seed of Abraham includes the nations or, goy, goyim in the Hebrew, by faith. Neither Abraham or his seed were under the law at the time of the promise but under faith which was before the law that did not come until Moses. Therefore his seed is not by the law but by faith which includes the nations. The law came because of disobedience and was fulfilled by the obedience of the Messiah and faith in His atonement.
And in thy seed shall all the nations [goy = nations including foreign nations, gentiles] of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. Genesis 22:18
And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 28:14
And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. Thus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the Lord that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee. Isaiah 49:6-7
Regardless or heritage or religion, forgiveness has always been by confession and repentance and which is no different today. Being proud of one’s heritage does not provide salvation and most certainly not if that heritage is false.
God loved his creation so much and was sorry to see them in their sins and errors and lost by their own devices, that He sent His Word in the form of His Son, who became flesh as a man, so that whosoever of all of His creation, Jew or gentile, believes on Him, shall not perish but have eternal life. He did not send His Son to condemn the world but that through His sacrifice the world, Jew and gentile, might be saved. He who believes on Him whom God has provided as payment for our sins will be saved. But He who does not believe on Him will be lost because he did not believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18
It does not matter what your heritage is. It only matters what your future is going to be. Even Paul, the Semitic Jew and Pharisee with his abundant Jewish heritage, declared that he was not ashamed of the good news of God providing His own son, which was the power of God unto salvation to the Jew first and also to the gentiles for only by faith in God’s own provision can we be saved.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Romans 1:16-17

I sent a rather detailed response but sadly it didn’t post. There’s much I could say, but I’ll limit my second attempted response to this: In order to demolish strongholds of our sacred cows / false doctrines, we must humble ourselves and decide to value TRUTH more than them (such as your sacred cow that there is a physical Israel and a separate spiritual Israel, and your sacred cow that the whole church is raptured pretribulation, regardless of maturity of its different members). If you are open to truth on the latter matter, please spend weeks studying the Scriptures in the Overview and Part 1 of this series:

Yes. Thank you, Deanna. Many people and especially the modern day professing believers, are having the wool pulled over their eyes believing that the current day STATE OF ISRAEL is the fulfillment of Jesus restoring the Nation of Israel. It is not. Nothing but smoke and mirrors and the spirit of Antichrist. Every time the bible says “In that day…” is the Day Jesus stands on the Mount of Olives and gathers the remnant of the Israelites back to His Israel under King David but only those who believe on Him. These are the remnant Hebrew descendants that Antichrist will try to kill in the dessert as they are hidden from Him by God supernaturally during the last half of the tribulation. Jesus will actually appear to them in the dessert and the majority will still reject Him. Imagine that.

Indeed 🇸🇻 is NOT Biblical Israel. Romans 2:28-29, Romans 9:8, and Gal. 3:26-29 make clear WE who are in Christ are the true Israel, Abraham’s seed. I do not believe the Scriptures support what you claim in the second half of your paragraph, however. Please do make time to read the article and honestly study the Scriptures therein with the Holy Spirit as Teacher, of course.

During the second half of the tribulation, God will gather the Israelites out of the countries wherein they were scattered throughout the world, with an outstretched hand and a mighty arm (Ezekiel 20:33-34). He will bring them into the wilderness to plead with them face to face just like He pleaded with their fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will He plead with them (Ezekiel 20:35-36). He will cause them to pass under the shepherd’s rod (those that choose to be His) and bring them into the bond of the covenant (Ezekiel 20:37). He will purge out from among them the rebels and those that transgress against Him and will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn and they shall not enter into the land of Israel and they shall know that He is the Lord (Ezekiel 20:38). Yet two thirds of them (the rebels of Ezekiel 20:38) shall be cut off and die but one third (they that passed under the shepherd’s rod of Ezekiel 20:37) shall be left therein (Zechariah 13:8). And He will bring the third part through the fire and will refine them as silver is refined and will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on His name and He will hear them. He will say, it is my people and they shall say, The Lord is my God (Zechariah 13:9). These are the true remnant of Israelites who will enter in to the Millennial Kingdom with David as their King and Jesus as their Messiah.

Deanna,
I took the time to read through your article and the scriptures you reference. Most of it is very good and right on target. However I have some questions that may bring some other areas to light to perhaps make it even better.
You are right on about the true nation of Israel not being what most people, and even most believers, think that it is. You are on point when you say that “Abraham is the father of those who believe, and Isaac is his son of the promise, not Ishmael.”
However we should take a closer look at when you say ““all Israel will be saved” (11:26) clearly does not mean all physical descendants of Abraham via Isaac and Jacob will be saved, as many falsely think it means”. I agree with the obvious fact that not all physical descendants of Abraham via Isaac and Jacob will be saved and not one of them that sinned and rebelled against God was saved or is being saved today or will be in the future up to the Lord’s return. As I wrote earlier, only one third of them who go through the second half of the tribulation will be saved. This one third will be represent all “natural” Israel.
However I do not find any scriptural support to mix the seed of faith, which is spiritual Israel, which we are, with natural Israel which are the physical descendants of Abraham through God’s covenant with Isaac (Genesis 17:19). If that were true, then there would be no need for all Israel to be saved anymore.
You say in your article: “He will bring the believing remnant of Israel – that’s us per Romans 9:6-8, Galatians 3:29 and Ephesians 3:6 studied above – back to the land promised Abraham’s Seed DURING Christ’s second advent (not before).”
If it were true that we are the believing remnant of Israel, my question would be, then who will Jesus be bringing back to the promised land if all the believers have already been raptured and will be accompanying Him at His return? See what I mean?
The remnant is the one third of Zech 13:9 I wrote to you about earlier. On that day the Lord will extend His hand a second time (first time was the return of the Israelites from exile to Babylon) to recover the remnant of His people from all the lands He lists in Isaiah 11:11. He will gather the exiles of Israel; He will collect the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth (Isaiah 11:12-13).
So who then will he will He be gathering if all the saints are long gone from the earth, unless the remnant are descendant natural Israel?
Yes, we are counted for the seed as spiritual Israel but not as natural Israel. Even Paul made this distinction very clear when he explained that they, natural Israel, are enemies for our sakes but beloved for the father’s sakes.
I am working on an article explaining the 3 kinds of people in the world today.
1. Israelites
2. Gentiles
3. Believers
Each are separate and distinct groups of people who have their own eschatological timelines. God is certainly not done with the natural Israelites yet as He has definitely not replaced them with the believers. I would encourage you to read it when it is published that I trust will shed some more light on how it all fits together. I would look forward to then continuing our discussion.

A blessing to engage in serious consideration of this matter. Regarding your question, “If it were true that we are the believing remnant of Israel, my question would be, then who will Jesus be bringing back to the promised land if all the believers have already been raptured and will be accompanying Him at His return?” We must always go with what God’s word says, not with the paradigms we have been taught! Having already established that believers in Christ ARE Israel as per the multiple Scriptures presented, we cannot go back on that – it is established, and in Christ there is no Jew or Gentile. A key error in your quoted question is your assumption that “all the believers [will be] raptured”; that is the popular teaching, but it is NOT Scriptural – there are multiple raptures/resurrections: firstfruits first, THEN the main wheat harvest, then the gleanings (and, of course, the rapture of the two witnesses). Realize God only harvests that which is ripe… Please make time to study the many pertinent Scriptures on that issue – it will take you weeks to truly study it out under the Holy Spirit’s tutelage and apprehend, for many strongholds of false doctrines must be demolished. The Lord had me write about that matter and others in this series: https://thelordiswithus.com/resurrection-rapture-judgment-and-millennium/ You’ll find the multiple raptures addressed in the Overview and Part 1. Thank you for valuing and seeking truth, and for the humility it will take to study it out – most Christians prefer their sacred cows.
