Continued from Part 8…

This was not some unique kind of demon that needed special prayer and fasting attention or otherwise it would not obey the name of Jesus.  No, every demon no matter their rank or status in hell, is subject to Jesus and to us in His name without exception.  They are all of their father the devil and must bow the knee when commanded to do so.  Even Satan himself is subject to Jesus’ authority.  

For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.  Romans 14:11

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at [literally: “in”] the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things [*literally: “ones”] in heaven, and things* in earth, and things* under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  Philippians 2:9-11

Since the Greek tells us that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of ones in heaven, and ones in earth, and ones under the earth, then this demon was no less subject to the disciples operating in Jesus’ delegated authority then it was when Jesus cast it out.  This is because they are all the same demonic enemy and must be treated the same without discrimination or otherwise we will be a ‘respecter of persons” among demons and there is no respect of persons with God and neither can there be with us as believers or we will find ourselves committing sin.

For there is no respect of persons with God.  Romans 2:11

But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. James 2:9

Whether they are an unclean spirit, an evil spirit, a deaf spirit, a dumb spirit, a blind spirit, a foul spirit, a spirit of fear, a lying spirit, a spirit of unbelief, a seducing spirit, a spirit of epilepsy, a spirit of cancer, a spirit of infirmity (which includes all sickness and disease), a spirit of divination, a spirit of lust, a spirit of envy, a spirit of slander, a spirit of pride, a spirit of an unclean devil, or spirits of devils which should cover them all, it does not matter one iota.  They are all the same enemy and all subject to the name of Jesus without exception.

The newest baby believer in Jesus has full power and authority over any and all demons, demonic principalities, demonic powers and even over Satan himself.  If there is no greater devil than Satan himself, the father of lies, over whom we have absolute power and victory in Jesus, then neither can there be any special demon below him that needs any special or preferential treatment to be cast out other than an unwavering mustard seed of faith in the name of Jesus to be able to do so.
