Still Not Healed?

faith-moves-mountainsFor unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.  Hebrews 4:2

The preaching of the gospel is as much healing as it is salvation.  If so far the word preached to you has not profited you, it is because although you have heard the word, you have not yet mixed it with your faith.

Allow me to speak plainly.

If you are continually placing fault for your lack of receiving your healing on the those who have preached to you when it is you who have not mixed it with your faith, then the gospel has not profited or benefited you.

Realize that when you point one finger, there are always three fingers pointing right back at you.  Finger pointing

Jesus gives you the answer right here:

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24

Notice that whatsoever things YOU desire, when YOU pray, YOU must believe that YOU have already received them, and only then shall YOU have them.

Jesus preceded it with this:

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”  Mark 11:23

First he spoke generally in the third person to whosoever.  Then he personalized it directly to us by saying “For verily I say unto YOU…”

Combine this with what He instructed the disciples here:

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.  Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus’ instructions to his disciples to teach all nations…Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you” was meant for all believers who are truly disciples.

By the way, to observe here does not mean to just watch but to “keep from loss” by way of continuous enforcement.

Therefor, if you claim to be Jesus’ disciple, then everything that you see Jesus commanding His disciples, He is commanding you.

Also notice that his instructions in Mark 11:23-24 are entirely conditional.  Here are the conditions broken down:

  1. Are YOU speaking to the mountain and commanding it to be removed and to be cast into the sea?
  2. Are YOU not doubting in YOUR heart?
  3. Are YOU believing that those things which YOU say shall come to pass?
  4. Are YOU believing that YOU shall have whatsoever YOU say?
  5. Are YOU believing that whatsoever things YOU desire when YOU pray that YOU receive them right then at that very moment?
  6. Are YOU believing that when YOU have now received them that YOU indeed have them?

The word “receive” is the Greek word “lambano” which is also translated as the word “take”.

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took (Greek: lambano) our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.  Matthew 8:17

It is the same word here as it is in receiving your healing.  Therefor applying this same translation to Mark 11:24, it implies that you need to “take” your healing from Him the same way he took your infirmities from you.

This sounds almost like circular logic but it is not.  You can take your healing from Him exactly because He first took all our infirmities from us.  Do you see that?

The same applies to salvation.

He paid the price for our sins but His sacrifice does not apply to us until we receive it or take it from Him.

His hand is open and offering and we need to reach out and take it directly from His hand in order to receive it.

Once we receive or take it, now it is ours.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Greek: sōtēria).  Romans 10:9-10

The last verse you can also apply to healing:

For with the heart man believes unto healing (righteousness of the body); and with the mouth confession is made unto health (salvation and deliverance of the body).

Luke used the same  Greek word “sōtēria” in the book of Acts when he wrote this:

Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health (Greek: sōtēria): for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.  Acts 27:34

You can trust Jesus and you can trust His word that when you come to Him by faith, He will never refuse you or cast you out.

“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” John 6:37

This includes coming to Him for healing and deliverance of your infirmities, ailments, sicknesses, diseases of any kind whatsoever.

But you must come believing that you receive and you shall have it.

Brothers and sisters, I am sharing with you what the Lord revealed to me personally years ago when I sought Him as to why He still had not healed me after almost 2 years of severe RA in my left arm and after all my prayers (begging) for Him to heal me as if it was His fault.

I was very surprised when He answered me and spoke clearly to me and said:

“When you prayed, did you believe that you had received your healing?”

As a loving Father, He chastised me and I was humbled.

I replied “No, Lord, I didn’t, did I?  But here is what I will do right now.  I will pray one more time and no matter what I feel, I will stand on your word and believe that I have already received my healing.”

Right then and there is when I took my healing from Him.

And I received my complete healing right at that moment and it manifested very slowly, and the pain diminished little by little every day over a period of 2 weeks until I was completely set free of all pain.  Just by believing that I had already received my healing and standing on His word that it was done.  And I am still free of any RA after 20 years now.

You can read the rest of my testimony here:

DID YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU RECEIVED?

My dear brother and sisters in the Lord, allow me to admonish you to stop wavering and start believing that you already have your healing in Jesus and that your faith in Him and in what He promised and commanded is already yours and is all that you need.

But you need to take it and lay hold of it and not waver one moment and you shall have it.

And Jesus said to him, `If thou art able to believe! all things are possible to the one that is believing;’. Mark 9:23

PS: If you believe you have received your healing but need or want support confirmation, then confess it with these healing declarations.
