This world is not what it appears to be.  A world fashioned to deceive and distract from the one thing that is the most important…our Creator.  At this very moment there is a pitched battle going on for your soul, both in the seen and the unseen worlds.

The enemy does not want you, but he sure does not want your Father and especially His Son to have you either.  He has never cared for you and never will.  Your are just a pawn to him.  Just a tool to strike back at the One who has defeated him and put him to public shame.  

A war is being waged for your allegiance.  Will you follow him or will you choose to follow Jesus?  Every waking moment of every day you are being challenged by him and his demonic hordes about this very reality and ultimate eternal destiny.  Face it, if you claim to believe in Jesus, you have a bullseye on your very soul and body.  This is why you need to walk in the spirit continuously so you will not fulfil the lusts of the flesh.  There is no vacuum.  There are no options.  There is no grey area.  It is the straight and narrow path.

Ever since Lucifer tried to ascend to the throne and was soundly defeated, now as Satan, literally “adversary”, he is awaiting his final judgement, capture and execution.  And he knows it all to well.  His time is short.  First, at Christ’s return, he will be bound with a chain and thrown in the bottomless pit for a thousand years.  Then he will be released so whoever does not love God and his laws, may choose to follow him in open rebellion, only to be thrown into the lake of fire together with him forever and ever.  There where the worm does not die and the torment of flames and darkness are forever.

And he is hellbent on taking you and as many as are the image of God as he can, with him, just to spite the Father who created him but caught him red handed in his rebellion and trafficking against the Almighty together with a third of the angels who are now bound in Tartarus.

“In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world.”  All power and authority in Heaven and earth were given to Him.  And He has delegated His power and authority to us to execute it by the authority of His name and by the power and dynamic ability of the Holy Spirit, to loose and to bind, to judge righteous judgement, to cast out demons, to pick up serpents, to trample on scorpions and all the ability of the enemy, to heal the sick, to cleanse the lepers, to raise the dead and to declare unto them “The Kingdom had come nigh unto you!”

As a believer in Jesus Christ, this is your commission:

“He who believes on Me, the works that I do, he shall do also.  And greater than these shall he do for I go to the Father.”

“As the Father sent me, so I send you.”

“These are the signs that shall follow the believer:  They shall cast out demons, they shall speak with new tongues, they shall pick up serpents, if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not harm them, the shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.”

If you claim to be a believer, then you must do the same works that Jesus did.  You must walk like Jesus.  You must talk like Jesus.  You must act like Jesus.  You must command like Jesus.  You must love like Jesus.  You must be Jesus.

To be able to do this, you must continually build yourself up in your most holy faith.  You must edify yourself.  Like a good soldier, you must be strong in the spirit.  You must renew your mind and most importantly, the spirit of your mind to the reality that you are no longer a mere human being.  You are no longer a mere mortal man.  You are a spiritual being.  A new man.  A new creation in His image.  You have died and are seated with Christ in heaven and the life you now live, you live by faith in the Son of God who loves you.

You are a son or daughter of the most high God.  You are a direct heir of God and a fellow heir with Jesus Christ.  Not a co-heir.  It is not 50/50.  It is a full heir with all rights and privileges.  A full power of attorney.  As He is, so are we in this world.  Everything that hinders you from receiving  or walking in your inheritance, is a devil that must be cast out and removed from the hindrance.
