About three months ago, David showed up to one of our training meetings on a night we had not scheduled one.  He even brought his friend, Dennis.  So we had a special meeting just for him and his friend.  It was great.

In his spare time David is a Christian rapper and goes by the name FireJaws.  He even has a website firejaws.com.  He had a million questions and wondered why he did not see instant healings when he prayed for people.  

He had explained earlier that for the last 20 years he was a technician for cash registers and payment terminals and was regularly sent out to places like Walmart, Starbucks, etc.  So I asked him whether he believes that if he was called in to fix a terminal that he knows he can fix the problem before he even gets there.  Yes…he said, most of the time.  How confident are you that you will be able to get the job done? I asked him.  Pretty confident, was his reply.

“So why do you think that is?” I asked him.  “Could it be from all your years of experience and that you have done it so many times before?”  “Yeah, I guess so” he replied.  I asked him “So why would healing be any different?  You need to learn how to do this just like you learned how to be a technician.  It’s called the renewing of your mind.  And just as important is the renewing of the spirit of your mind.  This is your attitude that once you renew your mind to the word and what it tells you that you are capable of through the power of the Holy Spirit in you, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, you now also need to develop the attitude that, yes, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me by putting on and walking in the new man.”

For the last several months David has been a regular attendee at our meetings, learning and observing how healing is effectuated and just soaking it in.

Last night I attended a bible study David held for his church family at his house.  He had about 12 people in attendance.  After the study in the book of James, he shared a story about an instant healing he experienced the day prior when he prayed for a lady at a Starbucks where he was sent for a service call.  He was so pumped up about it that he offered to pray for anyone in the room who needed healing right then and there.

Melanie was the first volunteer who said she had a doctor’s appointment the next day for back problems and some other issues which he prayed for and then he checked her legs.  Back problems are often caused by one leg being shorter than the other.  One was indeed slightly shorter than the other one.  He commanded the leg to grow out and it did.  She said she could feel a twitching in her leg when it happened.  In the video, she is the one with the colorful argyle socks.

Harry was the second volunteer and had a laundry list of complaints for which David prayed and he also had one leg that was shorter than the other by about half an inch.  He commanded it too to grow out in Jesus name and it did.  Harry said he could feel a tension from the back of his knee when his leg grew out.  You can see in the video that he had a real hard time getting up out of his chair.  But after David prayed for his back and other problems in the second video, he told him to sit back down and get up again and that he shouldn’t have a hard time.  Sure enough he got up with no problem at all.

This was David’s first time growing out legs and he did two legs in his first try.  He commanded healing with a new attitude and confidence I had not seen in him before.  A good healing goes a long way to building one’s confidence that indeed all things in Christ are yes and amen!

The next day, Melanie had gone for her doctor visit and was told that all her symptoms had disappeared.  She was completely healed.  Praise Jesus!

Yes, David is now fully activated and off to the races.  Watch out, devils!  There’s a new sheriff in town!

Praise Report from Melanie

Praise report. This was the first time in about 10 years that I went to sleep and woke up with no back pain, no Aleve, and no Simply Sleep. I was also able to get right out of the bed, bend over, and drive with no pain. Friday morning my doctor said I needed see a chiropractor 5 days a week for about the next 3 months because I was in such bad shape. I just left his office this morning and he said I had an amazing transformation since yesterday. Not only do I no longer have to see him 5 days a week but he said come back one day next week for good measure and I’ll never have to come see him again. Thank you Jesus! By His stripes I was healed! Thank you Minister Dave for allowing God to use you.
