“It Came Back!”

psalm-103So you were prayed for and were healed of your pain.  Or, you prayed for yourself and the pain left you.  You believed that you were healed.

Now, a while later, or perhaps the next day, all of a sudden you feel a pain again.  Your first reaction might be “Oh no, it came back!”

But it really didn’t.  Let me explain…

Just because you feel some pain again does not mean that it came back or that you “lost your healing” or weren’t healed in the first place.  This is exactly what the enemy wants you to believe.  It is actually a new demonic attack from a familiar spirit, perhaps a buddy of the old one that was just cast out, mimicking the old pain trying to trick you into believing it is the same pain and hoping that you will fall for it and believe that you were not healed after all.

But you were healed!  As a matter of fact “By His stripes you were healed.” (1 Pet 2:24).  The proof is that the pain left and now appears as if it returned in a similar fashion but it is not exactly the same as before.  But if you fall for his trickery, he will take full advantage to start it all over again and make it even worse than before.  We are not ignorant of his devices!

Stand your ground!  You are made whole!  It is written!  It is settled.  Done!

Now continuously keep thanking Jesus for taking it from you, for defeating the enemy, for making you every bit whole, for bearing it for you so you no longer have to.  Don’t let a hint of doubt enter your mind.  Do not take thought of anything other than that you are completely healed and made whole and thank Jesus accordingly.

He inhabits the praises of His people.  Just keep repeating the first several verses of Psalm 103 anytime you feel a hint of anything.

You are a spirit, you have a soul and you live in a body.  Not the other way around.  Never let your body dictate to you as a spirit what the truth is no matter what the facts are.  The truth of the word always overrides the facts of the flesh every single time.  Anytime our body does not line up with the truth of the word, it is our task to speak the word to it until it lines up with the word of God and to speak those things that be not as though they were and they will be if we faint not.

Forever settled in Christ.
