Thanks for sharing this. I was blessed seeing that it took time and actually wasn’t “instant” – often it is difficult for us to persevere, as this Christian did, and CONTINUE commanding God’s will be done over the course of minutes!

I hear exactly what you mean. Compared to how long doctors take, this is instant. So how is it that people are willing to give a doctor days and weeks and months and will not give Jesus 5 or 10 minutes? How is it that when you offer to pray for someone who has had their infirmity for years, they tell you that they don’t have time? I was actually praying for someone whose pain was physically going down from a 10 to a 2 when he suddenly told me that he did not have anymore time and needed to go. Huh? I prayed for a woman once who was being completely healed of her pain and could walk freely again and was rejoicing in her healing when her husband said loudly: “We have to go. We have groceries in the car.” I could not help myself and asked him: “Sir, you don’t have time for your wife to be healed?” He did not respond, turned around, grabbed her by her arm and started to leave. She kept turning around thanking me and apologizing for her husband.
