Be A Thermostat

thermometer.pngAs a son of God, you have a lot of privileges. But they come with responsibilities.

For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. Luke 12:48b

You have been given the much.  Now much is required of you.  Whining is no longer a luxury you can permit yourself.

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.  Romans 8:19

You are expected to manifest as a son of God.  What does this mean?  It means to show the signs of being a son of God, to display His character, to act and be just like Him.  Even though Jesus was the Son of God, Jesus as the son of man was the perfect example of manifesting as a Son of God, so much so, that He was the express image of the Father.  He even said, “If you have seen me, you have seen the Father. ”

This is not just a positive pep talk. It is a way of life.  You are much more than meets the eye.

As a son of God you have been given the power to change, direct and dictate your circumstances.  As such, you are never under the circumstances but above them.

The enemy does not want you to be aware of your God given power and abilities.  He wants you powerless, broke and miserable.  And he certainly does not want you to know that he has been soundly defeated and that because of this, you have been empowered with the Spirit of God to perform miracles.

But he and his band are lawless criminals and thugs who do not want to admit defeat or obey anyone.  However they must obey the name of Jesus and the believer who uses Jesus name in all authority.

If this is you, then you are the policeman holding them to the law of God.  You exercise your authority.  You tell the demons to go, in Jesus name.  Don’t listen to them or take their thoughts.  Take every thought captive into the obedience of Christ.  Stand on the new covenant word.  Declare the new covenant word.

You are not a thermometer.  Be a thermostat.  You set the temperature.  You are in control.  The Holy Spirit in you gives you control and the dynamic power to overcome.  That is why the Holy Spirit is the helper alongside.  He moves once you move.  Say those things that be not as though they are and they shall be.  The environment and circumstances will conform to the temperature you set.

Realize that your job is not your provider.  You already a have a provider.  Yehovah Jireh is your provider and He will meet all of you needs.  Look to Him.  Trust only Him.  He has already provided for you.  Now start thanking Him for meeting all of your needs.  If you are looking for a job, thank Him continuously for your new job.  Thank Him for all your bills and that they are all paid for.  Thank Him for putting all your talents and skills to use.  Thank Him for meeting your every need.

Don’t wait until it materializes to then all of a sudden start thanking Him.  Thank Him now so that it will materialize.  He inhabits our praises.  Speak it into being.  Say those things you want and don’t say anything that you do not want.  He created us in His image.  He is a creator.  He has made us creators of our circumstances.  You will be snared by the words of your mouth, both good and bad.  It is whatever you say that will come to pass.  This is the power He has entrusted unto us.  Use it wisely.

As a Son of the most High God, you have His character now.  Speak like Him.  Command like Him.  Believe like Him.  Act like Him.

Once you have asked, then believe that you have already received it and you shall have it.  The only thing left then is to thank Him and praise Him continually.  He is your all in all.

According to your faith so be it unto you.
