You really don’t hear much about orphanages anymore today.   At least not in this country.

Caring for orphans has pretty much been relegated to, and taken over by, government programs.  But it really is the church’s responsibility.

Well, here is a ground floor opportunity to be able to take part in raising up a brand new, genuine orphanage in Pune in Maharashtra, India.  In this part of the world there are many orphans and they do not have government programs to help them all.  Many are forced to resort to begging for their daily survival.

It will first start out as a girl’s orphanage until such time the Lord provides male staff for boys as well.

The driving force behind this endeavor is a young lady by the name of Christina whose picture is at the top of this article. 

Christina is an educator by profession and has been traveling with her team to preach and evangelize in the midst of Hindus, Muslims, Jains and many other people who don’t know Jesus.  

In her culture, her parents want her to get married so that she will be taken care of.  But she has told them that she is married to Jesus and wants to serve Him with her life.

She received a vision to start an orphanage.  As an educator she can teach these children and raise them in the love of Jesus.  She is raising a team to be able to staff the orphanage with round the clock care.

Since children are very near to Jesus’ heart, especially orphans, He is already opening doors to make this happen. 

But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.  Matthew 19:14

Proof is the property you see in the above pictures.  The rent for this building is 15,000 Rupees a month which is about $189 US dollars a month and a real bargain by our standards.  Of course there will be other needs as well such as utilities, food and personal care items.

Thank you dear Prayer Partner’s and supporters, Your support towards My God given mission means a lot to me,
I really want to thank God for the desires he has given to me to serve him to advance his Kingdom here on Earth.
There are many stories to share I would love to share one,

I was on a mission trip, To my surprise I encountered a street beggar who really had emotional trauma and a poor self image of himself. I couldn’t stop just talking to him. He didn’t respond to me. I still went to him and asked if he was okay?
He responded to me in my mother tongue, wow this surprised me where in that part no one knew this language really, He felt comfortable talking to me then on, he responded in another language to me, which was to my surprise again it was English this time, seeing a beggar speaking English stood me. I went on asking him what happened to him and why is he in this condition? and his right hand was even injured badly.
He told me his stories and even said about how he was been betrayed by his own family members and was chased out of his own house
And he ran from his hometown.
I felt sorry for him
Everyday I used to visit him and say Hi and even Pray for him and I was so excited every time I saw him and even to talk to him was a really good experience, this happened for two week with my team. I gave him food and clothes too.
Then we had to go to the Ministry out of that town. I didn’t see him for a while then on. After coming back I heard some bad news as it was cold and rainy. He went to be with the Lord.

People said no one was there to take care of him in that time, His dead moved me and I thank God in that beggars life I was a medium where I prayed for him cloth him and made him believe that Jesus is the way to Life and he did accept him as his saviour before he went to be with the Lord and I do believe that in that hour of dead he must have thought of his saviour for help and his Hope for Life.
I thank God that he uses us to advance his kingdom here on earth even if it’s a small act he does mysteries we don’t understand.
I thank God For his Life and that he could find his saviour before he could die. Praise God!

With this move that happened I really wanted to stop there. I really wanted start up something to help other people who are Homeless and orphans.

So far God’s been conforming me to pioneer an orphanage and even to help the kids with medical help and with their education.
I want to start up something radical and move for God in times as such.
I want to start a project called THE LAZARUS HOME.
Where I want to start an orphanage for the needy and homeless kids where I can give them a stay and help them medically and give the needed education for them to be a good citizen.
This is crazy how everything started building up in my thought and then into faith and now into action.
I believe If God has put this on my heart he will take it to the completion and do much more than think or imagine. According to his power in us its more than enough, Amen!

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,  Ephesians 3:29

THE LAZARUS HOME is for the children who has no background and hope for their future and it’s something to remind me of this in the Bible where Lazarus was a Poor man who was ignored by the rich king and in the end Lazarus was remembered by God and was in Heaven instead and king was In the hell”
There are many people who are ignored in their lives even in their needs to be a helping hand to them to experience Heaven on earth I and want to place them in the LAZARUS HOME. Who are really ignored my the Society.
Because Our Generosity is someone’s Miracle, Amen!
