Manny is a dear friend of mine.  I have known him for at least 20 years.  He runs an auto repair service and has serviced our family for years.

My daughter came home one day and said that Manny wanted me to call him.  She had just picked up her car and this is what Manny had asked her to tell me.

So the next time I was in the area, I made it a point to stop in and see my old friend.  As I walked into the garage, he came towards me and pulled down his collar to show me a scar that extended across his entire neck.  

“What happened to you?” I asked surprised.  The story he then shared with me just blew me away.  I believe it will blow you away, too.
