I happened to call my friend Laura in Texas one evening and found out that she was all upset.
They had just taken her mom, also named Laura, to the hospital in an ambulance because she was throwing up bile and passing out and in a lot of pain.
Turns out she had a sizable 7 mm kidney stone lodged in her urethra.
Her white blood cells were very high indicating a bad infection.
She later shared that she heard the parameds say “We’re losing her!”

Apparently she had “severe flu symptoms.”
Well, I could have just prayed for her and be done with it.
But Kiran knows me all too well to be an adamant believer in instant healing and relentless in that fact that the instant word applied in absolute faith brings instant results.
She herself is a firm believer in healing as well.

As you can see here, it is OK to be angry. But it is not OK to let your anger boil over into sin such as revenge, harboring resentment or even holding a grudge.
We are to forgive and preferably soon and definitely before the sun goes down.
Many people live with unforgiveness and carry this around their neck as a ten ton weight upon their shoulders. They are convinced that the other person must first repent and then come and ask them for their forgiveness before they will even consider forgiving them. This is not biblical at all. You prayed for healing for your friend and did not see anything happen.
So you stopped, shrugged your shoulders and made every excuse under the sun why they were not healed.
And you gave up.
Who told you that when you laid hands, nothing happened? Was it that lying devil? Why did you listen to him? Why did you believe him? Why? Will he ever tell you the truth?
Just because you did not see it, did not mean that nothing happened. It did. You just did not believe that something had already happened because you spoke life into his body and God’s word from your mouth does not return unto him void. This is an amazing testimony of how a believing husband and wife, raised an unborn baby, who had died in the womb, to life from the dead.
Chino and Gigi were visiting his sister in Florida. One day his pregnant niece was visiting and said that she was having sharp pains in her stomach.
The next day she was taken to the hospital and when they did an ultrasound, they determined that she had lost twins, the two babies she was carrying.
When she came back she told them that she had lost the babies.

I am amazed at how many people just don’t know how to pray.
So they don’t.
O, they can spend hours on the phone or over coffee with a friend and lose all track of time, but when it comes to talking with the One they claim as their very best friend in the whole universe, all of a sudden, they have nothing to say.
O, sure, they’ll pray over their lunch or dinner and with the kids before they put them in bed, but that one-on-one ‘face time’ with their heavenly Father just seems to escape them.
Afraid? Anxious? Confused? Depressed?
These are all lies from the enemy. Perfect love casts out all fear.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18

When we prayed for this man, he was instantly healed of his pain and condition. As so often happens, we get so caught up in the moment and the joy of seeing the Lord perform a miracle right in front of our eyes, that we totally forget to capture it on video or to ask them for a testimony. I caught shot as I turned around and saw him walking away, carrying the cane he had used before he was healed and just had to capture it.
“But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.” Matthew 9:8
We marvel every day and glorify God continuously that He has indeed given such power unto us. Praise Jesus!

Why would I want to refuse a gift that Jesus gave when He ascended on high and gave gifts unto men (Ephesians 4:8)? Tongues was given at Pentecost and is a secure private channel that no enemy, devil, demon or even the NSA, can tap in to.
Ever wondered why you got the exact opposite of what you prayed for?
Well, if you use English, the enemy hears every word and tries to counter your moves. When you use tongues, he cannot hear or understand or intercept a thing and your prayers are heard and your plans not thwarted.
I see more movement from prayers in tongues than anything else. John G Lake said that tongues was the making of his ministry. Who am I to argue?

As I was shopping at Costco picking up some things my wife had indicated we needed, I saw a gentleman driving around in a motorized shopping cart. His young daughter was walking with him and around his cart. I pulled up alongside him and asked: “Did you hurt yourself that you are using this go-kart?”
He looked up at me and smiled and said:”Oh no, I need to go for surgery on my knee.” as he held his left knee with his hand.

Jen asked David for prayer for situations at her work that she believed she had no control over.
After David prayed for her, he also made Jen ‘s right thumb grow out bigger than her left thumb to demonstrate God’s power within us working through us.
This was to prove to Jen that God has given us power to change our circumstances by “calling those things which be not as though they were” – Romans 4:17.
