Today I would like to share with you 2 testimonies of people who were very recently raised from the dead.
In Matthew 10:8 Jesus instructed His disciples to “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”
Also in Matthew 28:18-20, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19
Jesus spoke this to 82 disciples, not just the 12 apostles as some believe. So right here we see that the apostles were not the only ones who were given power to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers and raise the dead.
The first word translated here as “power” is the Greek word “exousia” which literally means “delegated authority” as in the lawful authority to exercise supernatural force. Since Jesus had been delegated this authority as the son of man from the Father at His baptism in the Holy Ghost, He was able to delegate it in turn to whomever He desired. Jason, one of our team members, had joined us at the flea market outreach on Saturday morning. We came across a man pushing his wife in a wheelchair and approached them explaining that we were ministers and offered to pray for her.
Her name was Jewel and she had had surgery on her left knee. She said that she was a believer so I asked her, “Do you believe that Jesus is able to heal you right now?” “Yes! I believe that!” she replied. I offered for Jason to pray for her and he jumped right in. Betty, one of our team members, came out to our outreach event at the flea market. As we were walking around, we noticed a woman standing next to a booth with crutches leaning against her shopping cart as she was waiting for her husband who was checking the wares a vendor had to offer.
We asked her if the crutches were hers and she explained that she was holding on to them for her husband who had just had surgery on his knee. When we asked if we could pray for her husband, she said, “Well he’s busy right now but you can pray for me.” It turned out that she had cancer and weakness on the left side of her body. On my way to a seminar today, I passed a billboard on the highway that was advertising for a local hospital. It offered “World-Class emergency care locally here in Wayne, New Jersey.”

Harry, not his real name but used to protect his identity, and his wife came to our team meetings for several weeks. They were a very nice couple and we enjoyed their company.
One day, Harry called me up and asked if he could bring his cat to the meeting for us to lay hands and pray over. I told him sure, but that pets are really the owner’s responsibility to take dominion over for healing. He said he understood and at the next session he brought over his cat.
I prayed over the cat and then said “What about you? Didn’t you say something about your eyes?” “Yes.” he responded, “I have macular degeneration in both my eyes but they are saying it is incurable.” “Well, is anything impossible for Jesus?” I asked him. It was Liesl and Gabe’s first person they approached at the flea market who was in a wheelchair. Her name was Owelda and she shared with them that she had pain in her legs from arthritis.
Gabe told her: “We’re going to talk to your pain. We’re going to talk to your arthritis and cast it out and we’re going to believe and we’re going to pray that Jesus will take it out and you will know, you will notice that the pain has gone away. My friend John was scheduled to come and speak to our group meeting on Wednesday evening. However, about two hours before the meeting he sent me an email that he apologized but could not come because he had an over 100 degree fever and a severe case of strep throat. I immediately called him up and offered to pray for him to knock this thing out. I got his voicemail and left the following message “Hey John, got your message and wanted to offer to pray. “Yes, one double cheeseburger with extra cheese, hold the pickle, large fries and a strawberry milkshake. O, and I’ll have some extra mayo with that.”
How is it that we have no problem ordering what we want from a fast food menu, but we get all tongue tied when we order healing for someone? Yes, I said order.
Praying for healing for someone is just like ordering off of a menu. When you order food, you have to tell the person taking your order exactly what you want. If you don’t, you may not get what you want or like what you get. If you hesitate and don’t know what you want or don’t say it clear enough, they may ask you to please step aside and let the next person in line order until you know what it is that you want to order. How many people want to be like Jesus? Many confess that they would like to be like Jesus but have their reasons why they are not. These reasons range from “It is just too difficult” to “I am not called” to “I am not worthy.” But sadly many reasons just plainly boil down to “I don’t really know what it takes to even come close to being like Jesus”.
But I truly believe that many people would love to be just like Jesus…if they only knew how. I will even take it up a notch. I believe that both men and women, children and teenagers, the old and the young, would pour out their lives and exhaust themselves in service of their Savior and King…if they only knew how.

At their very first flea market outreach, brand new team members Liesl and Gabe, offered to pray for Gloria who was sitting in her walker nibbling on an ear of corn.

FACT: Jesus paid for our sins with his blood on the cross.
Because of Jesus’ payment by sacrificing Himself for us, He paid the price that we owed for our sins, for us. He wasn’t just nailed to the cross for us, but in our place.
He took our sins upon Himself to make us free of them.
RESULT: We are saved!

As we were winding down, I noticed a man with a crutch sitting all the way in the back of the room. I packed up my music gear and left it to make a beeline over to him. Another highly recommended book revealing that the gifts, or rather the “charisma” or literally “grace effects”, of the Holy Spirit, though heavily suppressed during the dark ages, have always been in operation.
These “grace effects” of having the Holy Spirit indwelling the believer are now coming to he forefront as believers take hold of the promise of the Father.

Many Christians today believe that only some are gifted to be able to exercise the “grace effects” of the Holy Spirit. Not so. Yes, there are people specially gifted and these are special gifts. But all true believers are commissioned to do the same works that Jesus did and greater.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:12

It was a warm summer day and I was driving from one appointment to another for business. The way my GPS was sending me, meandered through a suburban neighborhood of small, one family homes with a decent size yard in front of each home.
I crossed over a road and casually looked to my left when I saw her. She was weeding her garden holding on to her walker. It struck me odd that an older woman with a handicap, would be out in the heat of the day, weeding her garden with her walker. As I pondered the scene, I kept driving and was about a block away when it hit me. I should stop to pray for her. After all, I had just started learning about being able to pray for people to heal them.
No, I can’t. I need to get to my next appointment, I thought, when immediately my conscience smote me and spoke to me loud and clear, “No you don’t! You have at least another hour before you need to be there!” Continue reading Drive By Healing

He was walking very slowly with a cane. He was Spanish speaking but also spoke pretty good English. When we asked him what the condition was he said he was in severe back and neck pain. He could not even turn his head.
Margaret, one of our team members, had come for the first time to our outreach event. She had several health issues herself which we prayed for and she was set free of them all. She even received a vision correction to where she could suddenly read the signs posted in the office trailer window from a distance. My wife and I were at the mall with our daughter and son-in-law and baby grandson. Grandma had decided that she wanted to by a pair of shoes for our grandson.
As they were trying on just about every shoe in the store, I was pacing back and forth to the front of the store and back adain to see if they had finally made their selection. When I came back to the front and stood in the entrance door looking out on the mall traffic, I spotted a Muslim family strolling by on the other side. The mother was in the traditional Hijab and long black robe but she was struggling forth on a pair of crutches.
I crossed the walkway and approached the husband. With Muslims I never approach the wife first as that would be inappropriate. “Excuse me, sir.” I interrupted, “I noticed your wife’s crutches.
